People often ask why we are called Muse, well the word has various meanings, one being an artists’ source of inspiration.
All of the photo shoots at Muse are directed by photographer Lyndsey James who takes great pride in her work and likes to make sure your photos are creative, unique and inspiring. Clients’ requirements and budgets vary widely but each photo shoot is treated with the same level of expertise and dedication and the results speak for themselves.
A photo shoot at Muse costs £50 and includes one 10x8” photo in a black presentation folder. The session lasts up to an hour and we ask that you arrive 5 minutes early so that we can start on time.
On arrival at the studio via the Muse Store you will be directed to the lounge. Here you can sit and relax before your photo shoot starts, and discuss your ideas, outfits and props with Lyndsey. If you are unsure about what to bring just ring us and we will happily discuss ideas beforehand.
With an idea of the sort of photos you would like, Lyndsey will take you through to our high tech digital studio for your photo shoot! It isn’t as intimidating as the studios you may have seen on TV, ours is a warm comfortable room, with toilet and changing facilities nearby for your convenience and privacy. We don’t have assistants watching you and our clients are often surprised at how relaxed and informal the event is, but relaxed happy people make for great photos!
